Hello Parents!
This email is in regards to all of the athletes that are competing in airdrie as Gymnastics Adventure (Not team Sask)
As you all should know from seeing the schedule we do not have athletes competing on Friday or Saturday morning.
Saturday Afternoon
If your daughter is competing in Saturday’s afternoon session in L2 tramp 2004+ they need to be on the floor ready to go @ 2:00 pm during the awards for the morning session as there is no scheduled “General Warm-up” at that time. They need to be warmed-up to potentially compete in the first flight of trampoline @ 2:30.
If your daughter competes at any other time in the Saturday afternoon session they need to be there @ 2:30 pm for when the first flight competes to watch their teammates. Athletes need to warm-up their bodies at least 15 minutes prior to their event warm-up as I will be out on the floor with Emily Machuk coaching 3 events at one time. I will try and keep the girls up to date of when they go as best as I can.
Sunday Morning
Everyone needs to be at the gym for general warm-up & March In @ 8:15.
Sunday Evening
If your daughter is not receiving an award (top 8) or competing in Synchro you are allowed to leave after the competition as it is a long drive back home.
Make sure athletes have their tramp slippers, scrunchies, body suit, track suit, water bottle, bra/underwear that does not show, and some tricks of the trades to do their hair so it doesn’t fall out. Food can not be eaten on the gym floor.
