Recreational Classes Offered at A-Mazing Adventures

At A-Mazing Adventures, we have programs and classes available to fit a variety of interests, needs, and skill levels. Our programs cover a range of ages, beginning at walking, moving through all the way to teen programs.

Whether it be our Pre-school Gymnastics Classes that focus on gross motor movement skills for children 3 to 5 years old, or the Movement Classes that are designed for parent & tot or toddlers and help to develop gross motor and social skills.

We are also offering Specialty Classes which are designed to meet the diverse needs of our participants and athletes, working on specific skill development as well as conditioning and general fitness.

Movement Program (Ages 6 months to 3 years)

The Movement Program includes all the parent and tot and toddler programs. This program is designed to develop the child’s gross motor and social skills. Through exploration on a variety structures, children utilize the gross or large muscles of the body like those in the arms, legs and core. Gross motor skills develop over a relatively short period of time and most gross motor skills development occurs during childhood. Through movement programming, your child will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, agility and strength. Your child through this process will also increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Classes offered in this program: Teeny Tadpoles, Tiny Tadpoles, Wee Tadpoles, and Tumbling Tadpoles.

Preschool Gymnastics Program (Ages 3 to 5 years)

The Preschool Gymnastics program is for children 3 to 5 years of age and focuses on gross motor skills. Gross motor skills are the abilities required in order to control the large muscles of the body for walking, running, sitting, crawling, and other activities. Gross motor skills develop over a relatively short period of time and most gross motor skills development occurs during childhood. Through gymnastics your child will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, agility and strength. Your child through this process will also increase self-esteem and self-confidence.

Classes offered in this program: Gym Frog 1, Gym Frog 2, Gym Frog 3, Gym Frog 4, and Super Frog.

School Age Gymnastics Program (Girls ages 6 to 16 years)

The School Age Gymnastics Program builds upon the development of gross motor skills as children work on strength, power, flexibility and agility in a fun and encouraging environment through specific events in the gym. Participants will practice skills on the bars, beams, vault, and floor. Specific gymnastics skills are taught through a system of levels. Participants will move through these levels based on the skills that they achieve.

Classes offered in this program: Girls Introductory, Girls Intermediate, and Girls Advanced 

Specialty Movement & Acrobatic Gymnastics Program (Boys & Girls ages 6 to 16 years)

Our Specialty Movement Classes have been developed to meet the diverse needs of our participants and athletes. These programs are designed to help develop specialty skills, and also to provide people with opportunities for conditioning and general fitness, as well as development of an array of skills (tumbling & stunting).

Classes offered in this program: Introductory to Acrobatics and Tumbling, Intermediate Tumbling, Advanced Tumbling, Mini Ninja, Little Ninja, Parkour, and Acrobatic Gymnastics Level 1 to 3. 

Trampoline and Tumbling Program (Boys & Girls ages 6 to 16 years)

The Trampoline and Tumbling Program teaches the safety and development of skills on tumbling, the trampoline, and the double mini trampoline through introductory to advanced levels. In a fun and encouraging environment, children gain leg strength, endurance, and good ‘air sense’ (maintain body control while in the air). Participants must be 6 prior to the start of the session to enroll in a trampoline and tumbling class.

Classes offered in this program: Trampoline and Tumbling Introductory, Trampoline Intermediate, and Trampoline and Tumbling Advanced.

School Age Artistic and Trampoline Program Movement Program (Boys & Girls ages 6 years to teen)

The School Age Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics Program builds upon the development of gross motor skills as children work on strength, power, flexibility and agility in a fun and encouraging environment through specific events in the gym. This program contains a little bit of everything so participants get to try out many important events in the gym. They will practice skills on the bars, beams, vault, and floor, as well as tumbling, the trampoline, and the double mini trampoline

Classes offered in this program: Little Ninjas, Mini Ninja, Parkour, Intro to Tumbling, Advanced Tumbling, and Acrobatic Gymnastics.
