The final schedule for the 2016 Saskatchewan Provincial Cheerleading Championships on Saturday March 19, 2016 is now available! We are excited for this years’ event being held at the beautiful TCU Place in Saskatoon: 35 22nd Street East. Paid Parking is available either above ground, or underground across the street from TCU Place. We have attached an event layout map so that spectators, coaches and teams can become familiar with the layout prior to the day of the event.
Event Information:
SPCC 2016 is being held in 4 different events throughout the day – the schedule indicates which event each team is in. Awards for the teams in that session will immediately follow the completion of each event.
We have 10 different vendors in our Cheer Village this year, including our title sponsor Total Spirit! Custom event t-shirts listing all of the teams at SPCC will be on sale here, along with all of your other cheer apparel, shoes, backpacks, and uniform needs! There will be a concession open all day for snacks, drinks, and small meals.
Athletes:
Coach and team check in will be open starting at 8:00 am – please do not have athletes arrive prior to 8:00 am as they will not be allowed in the building. Please check in when you arrive and you will be given 2 coaches wristbands per team and a schedule for the day.
There is an athlete room where competitors can store their personal belongings and spend time in throughout the competition. We will have a live feed to the competition streaming to this room so athletes are able to watch other teams!
Spectators:
Spectators require a wristband to enter the event. Thank you for working with the SCA on our pre-sale option this year, once our pre-sale ends on Tuesday we will send an email indicating the available number of tickets in each session.
All tickets for all 4 events will go on sale on the day of event, March 19th, 2016 at TCU Place at 8:00AM, these tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis until they are sold out. Doors for event 1 will open at 9:00am for the first event, Doors for events 2 -4 will open upon completion of the previous sessions awards (estimated at 15-30 minutes prior to the event start).
