Spectators
Admission bracelets will be available at SPCC at a table located in the Cugnet Centre lobby before proceeding down the hall to the competition. Admission is $10 per session and there are four separate sessions shown below.  We suggest arriving early to avoid potential line ups; we will only be accepting CASH.  Competition area will be cleared after each awards ceremony. Please Note: There is no ATM on location.

Parking

All spectators are asked to park in the Cugnet Centre lot and Southeast Regional College lot.  There will be an area blocked off with pylons in the SERC lot because they have Saturday classes and the staff and students require parking.  Please respect this area or they may have you towed.
There is also parking in the West lot by the competition gym for overflow from the main lots.  These entrances will not be open during the event.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Bus parking is on King Street north and on 2nd Ave NW.  The area in front of South 1 and South 2 entrance is for athlete drop off ONLY.  No parking in this area.

NOTE:  Please do not block fire lanes – you will be towed by the City of Weyburn.

Cheer Village
Total Spirit will be on location with all of our official SPCC 2017 event clothing and all their cheer apparel.  There are a wide variety of vendors this year, including:  Hillberg & Berk, thirtyone gifts, Simply Sweet, Sweet Legs White City with Amy, Luscious Looks, LipSense, Shelley Lueck Jewellry, Feel It In My Bows, Bella Chic Fashion Decor, The Sassy Cheerleader, Fit Knit n Glitz, Weyburn Cheer and Dance Team, and Morgan Grainger Photography.

Fan Zone
Fan zone will be located in the chair seating directly in front of the competition surface – this area is for friends and family members of the team performing.  We kindly ask you to be seated prior to your team’s routine and exit immediately after your team is done performing to let the next set of family and friends view their team.

SPCC 2017 Media
Make sure you follow @sask_cheer on Instagram!  Post photos throughout the day – be sure to use our event hashtags #spcc2017 and #winninginweyburn!

Coaches and Athlete Arrival
Athlete Entrance will be at the South 1 doors (1st Avenue NW).  Teams will be assigned together in classrooms with a place to store backpacks etc.  Bring only necessities.  Please use common areas for eating and socializing.  Please ensure the classrooms are left in excellent condition.  Any teams found to have caused a mess or damage in any rooms will be expected to pay for the clean up or repairs.

There will be volunteers in each hallway to help teams and to guide teams to practice mat.  It is each team’s responsibility to ensure they are adhering to scheduled times – it is not the volunteer’s responsibility to keep you on time, but to get you to where you want to go!

Warm-up & Competition Area Information
Teams will need to check in to the warm-up gym (Cugnet Centre) four minutes prior to their warm up time.  Only athletes and coaches are permitted in the warm up area.

The warm up area will have four stations: 1st will be a stretch area, 2nd will be a 12ft x 42ft dead floor stunt warmup, 3rd will be a 9 mat dead floor with stereo and last will be a 60ft x 12ft sprung tumble strip.  Each station will be 4 minutes.

Teams will enter the competition floor from the back right side of the mat (audience’s view).  After performing, teams will exit to the back left of the mats.  Video playback will be in the team room area behind the gym.  The competition floor is a 54ft X 42ft full spring floor. There will be lighting, full production, and video playback!

**note: SPCC will do everything to ensure our warm-up is as described however modifications may be required due to availability of equipment and necessary placement.**

Athlete Spectating
Coaches, PLEASE review this information with your athletes.  Athletes are welcome to watch other teams but must be seated on the floor along the side of the competition mat.  Please do NOT block aisles and exits.  Athletes can access the fan zone when it is their school or club’s teams performing.  Athletes must be in uniform to access the competition gym.

Music
All teams must provide their own music either on iPod, iPhone, MP3, or CD.  A sound system will be provided.  Speed control is not available.  Music checks on the main sound system are not permitted.  A representative must be present at the sound system at the time of the performance.  Advisors/coaches are asked to hold onto their own music until the time of performance and to take music back following the performance.  Devices must be on Airplane mode and volume set to max.

Scoring
SPCC uses Cheer Canada’s score sheets and judging methodology.  Scoring ranges and deductions/legalities will be available to view approximately 10 minutes after your team competes.  Coaches will have 15 minutes to submit an appeal once their scores are ready.
