Cheer Bows Update

A brief update on the cheer bows for Open Lv 5, Junior Lv 2 & Junior Lv 1:

We began our ordering process in June of 2016, and finalized our order with our previous years supplier in November. Unfortunately, just a few weeks ago on Jan 17th they informed us they would not fulfill our order, definitely ensuring we never order from them again. We have since then contacted a number of alternative Canadian bow companies to find last-minute replacements, and are currently pursuing fulfillment from 2 Canadian companies. We have asked for this order to be completed as the highest priority, and we hope to receive bows as soon as possible. They will not arrive for this weekends competition.

Any additional fees we incur for rush delivery and last-minute production will not be passed onto families, we will take care of these additional costs.

We have spoken with Mitch about attending Icebreaker this weekend having all the Junior Lv 2 & Junior Lv 1 girls not wearing cheer bows (in order for the team to look “uniform”) even though some previous members still have their bows. Mitch has informed us this should not have any negative impact on the judging or scoring for the teams for this competition. Open Lv 5 team has looked into ‘borrowing’ bows for the competition this weekend, and will be planning on wearing bows as a team.

We assure that we are doing our best to have the bows delivered as quickly as possible.
