GA Parents Meeting

Hello Parents,

Here is a quick re-cap from the Parents Meeting on Sept 29th:

 

  1. Expectations
    • Primary communication method is email and blog. In an emergency we will call the contact info we have on file.
  2. Commitments
    • As per the parents guide, you are responsible for completing volunteer hours, cleanings and bingos throughout the year.
    • Volunteer hours are typically completed closer to April (hours are used towards our in-house competition), but for bingos/cleanings 1/2 should be completed by Jan 2017 or we will charge 1/2 the buyout rate.
  3. Fundraisers
    • We will be running a Mom’s Pantry fundraiser this Fall (forms will be handed out shortly). We typically run Mom’s Pantry fundraisers in the Fall, Winter and Spring, and all proceeds go towards Gymnastics Adventure. There is added incentive for families – every $100 sold results in a $10 credit (which can be used towards training fees)

Uniforms

  • All athletes are required to purchase the competitive uniform
  • Provincial level athletes are required to purchase a tracksuit
  • Each athlete must be accompanied by a guardian who will sign off on the sizing for tracksuit (if a new one is needed). Uniform measurements will be done by professional during a practice on Oct 13, Oct 14 & Oct 15th.

  • There is no refund for ill-fitting items.
  • Items must be paid in full before order is placed. Parents who do not pay for team apparel or miss the order deadline will be responsible for any additional fees associated with late orders.

 

Tracksuit Sizing Dates:

  • Wednesday, October 12 @ 6PM-7PM
  • Thursday, October 13 @ 5-6PM
  • Friday, October 14 @ 5:30-6:30PM

 

UNIFORM ORDER DEADLINE – MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 @ 5:00PM
